There is (sometimes) a segmentation fault in consed with the feature:

consed -addNewReads

There is an error message with navigate by snps on macosx.  It says:
consed error: contig3.cpp:849 Failed assertion
'pLocFrag1->nGetAlignStart() <= pLocFrag2->nGetAlignStart()'
