NOTE TO LINUX (32-BIT) USERS

The executable supplied is version 16.36 (beta) which fixes a problem
present in the 16.0 linux version.  (This problem involves problems
with typing into text fields, cutting and pasting into text fields,
and the right mouse click to bring up a popup menu.)

NOTE TO MACOSX USERS

The executable supplied is version 16.21 (beta) which fixes a problem
present in the 16.0 version when running on macosx 5 (Leopard).     


NOTE TO 454 USERS

There is a bug in sff2scf.c

Please download a new version from the main consed page:

NOTE TO SUN USERS:

The 454 software will not compile because stdint.h does not exist on
Suns.  Thus you must change line 24 of sffinfo.c from

#include    <stdint.h>

to 

#include    <pthread.h>
